The Baretto design, created by Manuela Verga Paolo Boatti, takes the traditional bottle crate and transforms it into a contemporary home mini bar. This innovative concept combines a bottle crate set with a highly functional worktop, all mounted on wheels for easy mobility. The Baretto design project started in May 2013 in Milan and was completed in August 2013. Throughout the development process, the design team faced challenges such as acquiring rights for the use of the plastic boxes and cutting MDF tops with a numerical control cutting machine. However, these obstacles were overcome, resulting in a truly unique and innovative design.

Baretto has received recognition for its excellence in design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2014, which honors well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. This prestigious accolade acknowledges Baretto's integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to a better world.
